Connect Aster

Aster uses an Aster Pro API Wallet. MyLiquidBot needs your main wallet address, the API wallet address and the API wallet private key. Most markets are USDT futures.

Quick Connect (recommended)

In Add connection choose Aster, keep Quick Connect selected and sign with your main wallet: MyLiquidBot creates the Aster Pro API Wallet (spot and perps, withdrawals disabled) and the wizard continues with trading activation. No funds move and no gas is paid. It lasts about 180 days; renew it from Manage → API wallet. To create it yourself, choose Paste API key and follow the steps.

1

Create the Aster Pro API Wallet

Open the official Aster Pro API Wallet page with your main wallet and create an API wallet without withdrawal permissions. Copy its address and its private key (shown once).

2

Add the connection

In Account → Exchanges → Add connection choose Aster and fill in User Address (your main wallet, 0x…), API Wallet Address (the address shown by Aster) and Aster Pro API Wallet - Private Key. Press Save & verify.

3

Activate trading (Builder Fee)

Connect the same main wallet and press Activate trading. Aster requires a fresh signature each time; if it is rejected, generate a new signature and try again.

4

Trading settings per market

In Manage → Aster trading settings you can set Position Mode (One-way or Hedge), Margin Mode (Cross or Isolated) and leverage for a market. The bot creators and Trade also sync these values automatically when you change them.

Message or symptomFix
“Aster Multi-Asset requires Cross…”Your Aster account is in Multi-Asset mode. Use Cross, or switch to Single-Asset on Aster first if your account allows it.
“Mode change is blocked if Aster has open positions or orders.”Close or cancel them on that account before changing One-way/Hedge.
“Aster rejected the approval. Generate a new signature and try again.”Press Activate trading again and sign the new request with the saved main wallet.
Pair shows BTCUSDT instead of BTCUSDCExpected: Aster markets are quoted in USDT.
