Connect Papertrade

Papertrade is a perpetuals exchange on HyperEVM with no API keys. MyLiquidBot creates a session key and your wallet registers it with one signature. That key can only open and close positions: withdrawals always need your wallet. It lasts 30 days.

Prepare your Papertrade account

Open your Papertrade account with your own wallet and deposit funds.

Connect with Quick Connect

In Account → Exchanges → Add connection choose Papertrade, name it and press Connect browser wallet or WalletConnect. Sign once with the wallet you use on Papertrade. Nothing is sent on chain from your wallet and it costs no gas.

Renew the key before it expires

In Manage, the Papertrade session key panel shows the active key; from there you can recheck the connection and renew the key with another signature.

How Papertrade trades

It fills market orders at the Hyperliquid mid price, which is why Trade shows the Hyperliquid chart. There are no limit, TP or SL orders, and positions cannot be closed in parts: Close closes the whole position. A winning close pays less than the gross gain (impact haircut and a 2% fee on the gain), and a liquidation loses the whole position margin. Leverage goes up to 1000x: at that level, a tiny price move liquidates the position. There are no bots on Papertrade and no MyLiquidBot fee.
