Create a Bot

A bot is a repeatable trading plan: which account and market to use, how much capital, how it enters, how it exits and what happens if the market moves against you. Open Bots, pick a strategy and complete its form. If Show bot strategy guide is enabled in Preferences, a short guide opens before the form.

Before you can create a bot

You need at least one Active exchange connection with trading activation completed (see the exchange guides above). If the connection selector shows Key not available for this Bot or inactive, open Account → Exchanges → Manage and finish activation. Bot creators currently support Hyperliquid, Lighter, Lighter on Robinhood Chain, Aster, Bitunix, Pacifica, Ondo Perps, RISEx, Arcus and TxFlow. Papertrade supports manual trading only.

Common setup flow (all bots)

1

Bot and account

Choose the exchange (Select DEX), the Account (connection) and a Bot name. The available balance is shown. If you are not sure which connection to use, use Ask the agent.

2

Market

Search the coin (e.g. BTC). The panel shows Price, Min. notional, Max leverage, Min. order and Precision. Every order must respect these limits. If markets cannot load, the form lets you type the symbol manually.

3

Trading setup

Choose Direction (Long profits when price rises, Short when it falls), Leverage and, where available, margin mode. These values are synced to the exchange for that market when you create the bot. On Aster, Multi-Asset accounts only allow Cross. With cross margin, other collateral in the account can also be at risk.

4

Suggested setups (optional)

Several creators show Suggested setups (Safe, Moderate, Aggressive) calculated from recent market data. Apply only fills the form; review every value before creating.

5

Strategy parameters and preview

Fill the strategy fields (see each bot below). Check the preview or level table: any row marked with a warning is below the market minimum and would be rejected. Fix it by increasing investment or leverage, or reducing levels.

6

Trigger Condition (optional)

Available in most creators. Makes the bot wait until a condition is met before its first order: Price, EMA cut, RSI, Bollinger Bands or Supertrend, with operator, threshold and timeframe. Current Reference shows the live value. If the form says This exchange currently supports price start conditions only, use a Price condition for that connection. Once the trigger fires it shows Trigger armed and can no longer be edited.

7

Activate and create

Where the form shows Activate immediately, the bot starts on its next cycle if checked, or is saved paused if not. Forms with a start button (for example Start bot or Start Neutral Grid) start the bot on creation. Orders may take a short moment to appear; confirm them on the bot page and on the exchange.
