Frequently Asked Questions
Is manual trading completely free?
The MyLiquidBot platform fee is currently waived for manual orders for everyone, but exchange fees, funding and slippage remain. Bots keep their own fees. See Fees.
Does sending a chart plan guarantee an SL?
No. On most supported exchanges entry and protection are separate operations. Confirm the filled size and accepted SL/TP on the exchange; the risk estimate is not a maximum loss. See Entry plans.
Does Airdrop Farming guarantee points or a token?
No. MyLiquidBot does not grant, track or pay points, and the venue alone sets eligibility and rewards. No token or reward value is promised. See Airdrop Farming.
What do I need to start using MyLiquidBot?
A wallet (EVM, or Solana for Pacifica), a funded account on a supported exchange and a MyLiquidBot account. Follow the Quick start.
How do I add my API keys?
Go to Account → Exchanges → Add connection, choose the exchange, paste each value in its field and press Save & verify. Then complete trading activation. Each exchange guide lists exactly which value goes in which field.
Why do I need to approve fees?
The approval lets the exchange attribute your trades to MyLiquidBot and charge the platform fee. It is not a transfer, not a deposit and not a withdrawal permission. See Fees.
Which Lighter account type do I need?
A wallet-created account, for both Lighter Core and Robinhood Chain. Any tier works for manual trading and Delta Neutral; other bots that pay a MyLiquidBot fee need Plus or Premium, and the creator tells you before you create them. You can change the tier from Manage → Change tier once the connection is verified.
Does MyLiquidBot custody my funds or can it withdraw?
No. Funds stay on the exchange. With trading-only credentials MyLiquidBot can place and cancel orders but cannot send your funds to another address. If the exchange lets you enable withdrawals on an API key, keep them off.
Can I use Ondo Perps with bots?
Yes. An active Ondo Perps connection appears in the bot creators that support it and in Manual Trade. It uses Cross margin, One-way positions and whole-number leverage.
What is the difference between margin and notional?
Notional is the position value; margin is the collateral used: margin ≈ notional ÷ leverage. Example: $125 notional at 5× uses about $25 margin.
Why does the bot not place orders immediately?
Bots work in cycles, so orders can take a short moment. They also wait if not activated, if a Trigger Condition is pending, or if strategy filters are not met. Some exits are only placed after entries fill.
What is the difference between Pause, Power off and Close?
It depends on the bot. Pause and plain Power off stop automation and keep the position. Actions named with and sell, and buy, and close, Close position, Unload or Stop and delete close at market. See the table in Managing bots.
Can I use manual TP/SL alongside a bot?
Not while the bot reserves that account/pair, even if paused. Manual orders, chart changes and leverage/mode changes are blocked to avoid changing bot exposure. Use its documented stop/close/delete flow, or another account/pair. See Manual Trade.
Why does Portfolio equity change without trades?
Unrealized PnL, funding, deposits, withdrawals and mark price changes. Temporary read failures show as Partial balance.
My Lighter bot fails with a nonce or signing error.
Pause the bot, check the API key still exists on Lighter, create a new one if needed, edit the connection and resume after it verifies.
Can I copy bots from other users?
Yes, from the Leaderboard, as a starting point. Adapt investment, leverage and range to your own account.
Can I give this documentation to an AI assistant?
Yes. That is what the AI assistant guide section is for. Never give the assistant keys, secrets, passwords or 2FA codes.
